In this satsang, parampujya Gurudev Anandmurti Gurumaa explains to us the state of mind required to be able to receive the highest wisdom so as to attain liberation. If a devotee aspires to be free from all bondage's then the only way to discard ignorance is through knowledge. A disciple thus asks Gurudev whether it is possible to receive gyana in the state of sleep since the mind is calm then. To this the Master replies compassionately explaining that it is not possible since the place where ignorance lies is unavailable to receive the gyana.
