About the Album

Man runs all day long to earn a good living in pursuance of a good lifestyle. To dress good, to eat better and then travel around to the best of locations to make memorable travelogues. All of it does promise thrill, good moments and excitement yet what remains unattained? The money earned doesn’t promise lasting health, happiness or peace. It rather takes away the most precious state of a being- its sleep. Sleep that promotes holistic well being. Spending the whole day completing errands and rushing from one end to another where does one find the time to stop and even breathe mindfully? Similar hush and commotion is then carried over to the dream state. Filled with fear and palaver, such dreams impinge upon the state of sleep too. Apart from a contemporary lifestyle creating mental anxiety and emotional vacuum, disturbed sleep can be attributed to other factors as well. In accordance with the principles of āyurveda, high pitta in the body is one such factor. Hormonal imbalance is also a noted cause, particularly in women. A huge market today thrives on products that promise to relieve mental stress and ease falling asleep but to no avail. With huge compassion in heart for the modern man, perturbed with the mind's chatter, revered master Anandmurti Gurumaa has brought forth a method to not just induce sleep but also detangle the mind from the cobweb of material world and emotions. The master emphasizes during initiation that one needs to recall its true reality. Our true form is Satchidānanda but the veil of māyā has concealed the true reality. At the micro-cosmic level, the mind inflicts its shadow and gives a sense of discreteness from Satchidānanda but it is just a phantasm and the reality of Self remains hidden. Thus, the need to go back to one’s own real form is indispensable. And the same can be attained only with Brahmavidyā and a resolute contemplative mind. Yet again it is not attainable until the mind is totally relaxed during the day and the night as well while asleep. Sleep as we call it nidrā in Sanskrit has become the most sought after actuality. This track brings to you an evident practical method to move into a zone of sheer relaxation where the natural slumber will dawn upon gradually. Wishing you a good sleep!
