How Does Ego Exist In The Deep Sleep State? Part -1 (English)

Ego, I exist... we are fully aware of it in the wakeful state. While experiencing the deep sleep state 'I exist' also disappears with everything else as only the 'lack of all knowing' is experienced. How can we say that Ego (I exist) is present in the deep sleep state even though we do not know about it then.
