Is It Necessary To Be In A Religious Place To Meditate?

339 views | 30 May 2011

Question: I heard in one of discourses that we should meditate or do mantra japa only under a dome or some religious place which has a dome. Is it of no use meditating at home or at residential place which is not a dome. Kindly guide on this subject. Gurumaa: Well, Vashu I don't know where you have picked this up and I don't recall saying this. I might have said that if you do it under a dome, you might have a deeper experience, but I do not say that you only should do it in a religious place or under a dome.
