Religion relies on belief whereas science is all about enquiry however Vedanta is even beyond science, for what our seers said long ago is now being confirmed by the scientists of modern age, explains Anandmurti Gurumaa in response to a query confirming whether religion and science are opposite to each other. But it is one's concept of religion that determines whether it is in confirmation with the science or totally in contrast, for if it is merely faith based then there cannot be any reconciliation between the two. However, various philosophies like that of Buddhism, Vedanta, Sankhya address the ultimate quest with scientific aptitude.
