Why Am I Not Able To Move Body While Sleeping?

Q: Pranam Gurumaa. Many a times while sleeping, I feel that I am not able to move any part of my body. But I am able to listen to things around me. I am able to know if someone comes in the room also. I try very hard to move body parts, but am not able to and then awake suddenly. What is the cause and cure of this - any bad spirit? Thank you. Gurumaa: Number one, it is not a bad spirit & secondly, it is just that you need to use your body in the correct way. When we are not using our body mechanisms as we should, then the level of the exhaustion begins to grow and the deeper level of relaxation comes with some difficulty - to the muscles. I think so, my suggestion is that you practice one of my meditation therapy called Urja and also Yog Nidra. In combination, both of these things require 45 minutes of time each of it. So Urja preferably can be turned in the morning and Yog Nidra can be done either in the evening or may be just before you retire in your bed; it should help you a lot. And let go off any thought that there is any bad spirit. It is just a matter of a very stressed out body & a very stressed out brain; and the more you think about it, the more problematic it is becoming.
