Shivoham is the ultimate call to awaken by great masters Kabir Sahib and Adi Shankaracharya in the ethereal voice of revered master Anandmurti Gurumaa. Each track re-inforces the swarupa of our true self which is beyond name and form, self-effulgent, that which is truth-consciousness-bliss i.e. satchitananda. Shivoham unveils the ephemeral nature of this phenomenal world, just a fleeting play of a few days. And fortunate is the one who realises this reality before the fateful day of leaving the world arrives. There is also the beautiful rendition of Adi Shankaracharya’s timeless ‘Atmashatak’ which pierces through the dark layers of ignorance that envelop us. Reminding us that our true nature is indeed pure, unalloyed, untainted Self in all its pristine glory, these time-honoured verses entreat us to joyfully explore our inner world, the only place where this treasure of Self is to be found. The master, as the unique embodiment of this Truth, is revered, adored and celebrated as it is the master who is the supreme catalyst, awakening the disciple from the slumber of ignorance to the glory of enlightenment.
