About the Album
'Ganga mein' In the mellifluous voice of Revered master Anandmurti Gurumaa , here is a new rendition that will remind everyone of the often brushed aside sublime reality of this temporal world. It would make some teary-eyed for it will strike the chords of their heart while it will bring a smile to those who live reminiscing this truth every moment. The bitter truth of this objective world is that it is mortal, and everything that seems to dynamically flow will one day cease to exist. Master in this recital tells us how a man is born carefree, yet entire life he is tutored to run after fulfillment of a multitude of aspirations. Oblivious of his temporal life which will soon come to an end he keeps running incessantly to fulfill these never ending desires. One disregards the fundamental actuality of death. It is an inevitable end for every mortal being. Fragile like a bubble, the reality of this life will soon be revealed as it bursts and merges back into the river. And so irrespective of how prepossessing and captivating this world may seem, the journey of every mortal will also near an end. The hullabaloo of life will all turn mute when the mortal finally merges back into the perennial river of Ganga. The body will certainly turn to dust and merge back into the elements which manifested it. Be it a king or a pauper, no number of vices or virtues can change the ultimate end. So stop and ponder, where are you heading, what are you chasing? Sing along with the master and ground yourself with the ultimate reality.
